Beacon House terms, conditions and guidance notes

By booking a room at Beacon House Bed & Breakfast you (the guest and any one of your party) agree to abide by the terms and conditions documented below. Therefore please read them.

Check in: rooms ready from 1500hrs, check in till 1800hrs.

Car park: available from 1300hrs (arrivals)

Room vacation: 1030hrs. Car park available until 1200hrs (departures)

Your E T A (estimated time of arrival): 1500hrs to 1800hrs unless confirmed otherwise. Please call us if you wish to arrive later than 1800hrs.

Payment: Our preferred methods of payment are debit card or cash. In addition we also accept most major credit cards and Master Cards however there is a service charge of 2.5%. Unfortunately we don’t accept American Express. Please confirm card details via telephone if applicable

Cancellation policy: if you cancel up to 8 days before commencement of your stay we retain the deposit (or charge your card if paying by cash). Within 7 days of commencement we reserve the right to charge for the full stay. In both cases we will endeavour to re-let the rooms, if this is achieved, we will of course re fund any monies taken (not including deposit)

Beacon House cancellation: in the unlikely event that, due to unforseen circumstances, we have to cancel your stay, then you will have the choice of re-booking on an alternative date and utilising your deposit to reserve the new dates or agreeing to a full refund of any monies paid.

Beacon House room change: under exceptional circumstances Beacon House reserve the right to amend a room booking (change to another room), we will notify you of this amend with immediate effect, giving you the option to cancel with full refund.

Acknowledgement: Please confirm acceptance of terms and agreement of the stay by sending confirmation e mail within 24hrs. Your room/s will then be permanently reserved for you.

Dietary requirements: need to be communicated to the owners at least a week prior to your stay have any other queries before your stay then please don’t hesitate to contact us direct using the above reference number. In the meantime why not follow us on “twitter”, I post a picture of the area, views, events most days @beaconhouse1853. In addition we have a Facebook page

Respect your fellow guests: We expect guests to respect the fact that other guests and the owners are present on the premises and therefore noise levels need to be kept to a minimum level

Smoking: is not permitted either in the house, out of the windows or on the balcony of Bay View

Breakages, spills, stains, damage: guests will be expected to pay for in full

Holiday Insurance: We advise guests to take out separate insurance to cover for any unforeseen circumstances either prior or during your stay at Beacon House
