Beacon House terms, conditions and guidance notes
By booking a room at “Beacon House Bed & Breakfast” you (the guest and any one of your party) agree to abide by the terms and conditions documented below. Therefore please read them.
Check in: 3PM, till 6PM. Sometimes earlier, please call us on the day to know if this is possible.
Your E.T.A. - Estimated Time of Arrival - 3PM to 6PM unless confirmed otherwise. Please text us your approximate arrival time on 07770823932 when you are on your way.
Car park: available from 1PM on Arrival day and until 12PM on Departure day. Electric & Hybrid overnight car charger available Type 1 & 2 for a fee. We must know in advance to reserve the appropriate car space on our car park.
Check out, Room vacation: 10.30AM at the latest.

Payment: Our preferred method of payment is debit card, in addition, we also accept all major Visa, Mastercard & American Express. A non refundable deposit (1st day rate) will be taken on reservation and the full balance 14 days before check in day.
Cancellation policy: if you cancel up to 14 days before commencement of your stay we retain the deposit. Within 14 days of the beginning, we reserve the right to charge for the full stay. We will endeavour to re-let the rooms, if this is achieved, we will of course refund any monies taken, but only a voucher for future use could be issued for the deposit.
Beacon House cancellation: in the unlikely event that, due to unforseen circumstances, we have to cancel your stay, then you will have the choice of re-booking on an alternative date and utilising your deposit to reserve the new dates or agreeing to a full refund of any monies paid.
Beacon House room change: under exceptional circumstances Beacon House reserve the right to amend a room booking (change to another room), we will notify you of this amend with immediate effect, giving you the option to cancel with full refund.
Dietary requirements: We can deal with any dietary requirements as long as they are communicated to us, minimum 2 working days in advance.
Respect your fellow guests: We expect guests to respect the fact that other guests and the owners are present on the premises and therefore noise levels need to be kept to a minimum level
Smoking/Vaping : is not permitted either in the house, out of the windows or on the balconies.
Breakages, spills, stains, damage: guests will be expected to pay for in full.
NO Food on the premises: Under any circumstances, food is not allowed to be consumed in the bedrooms, However - weather permitted - you may use the tables and chairs in the garden as long as you leave them tidy, or if organised in advance we can let you use a table in our breakfast room.
Holiday Insurance: We have a liability insurance, but we advise guests to take out separate insurance to cover for any unforeseen circumstances either prior or during your stay at Beacon House
Testimonials
I stayed here for a weekend and I found that everything written in other reviews summed it up perfectly. The breakfast, delicious with many varied choices. The views, having my morning tea on the balcony overlooking the harbour watching the early morning world go by, beautiful. The welcome and hospitality of the proprietors, Nathalie and Herve, they were both helpful and knowledgeable about the area, places to visit, restaurants etc.
The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. One thing that made me smile was a small chest of drawers in the bathroom and the drawer for the spare loo rolls was slightly open, just enough to tell me where they were.
Please pardon the pun but my pet hate with booking hotels at the moment is the pet friendly policy of the majority of establishments and Beacon House is animal free, a small detail well worth knowing for those who do not wish to share their stay with the sight and sound of other peoples pets, particularly dogs.
I am looking forward to another visit, this time accompanied by my family.

Best BnB experience we have ever had
Wow where do I start ? Hervé and Nathalie were so welcoming. The room had the best view over the harbour, the balcony was a bonus. The towels and the bedding were of the best quality. The breakfasts that Hervé and Nathalie served were of Michelin star standard EGGS BENIDICT to die for there was so much to choose from. 5 🌟 does not give this place justice 10 star better than any hotel. Hervé was so full of information. I looked forward to our chats after breakfast with Hervé and Nathalie . Nathalie spoke 7 languages wow amazing. We had the best experience we have ever had in a bnb. Seems weired calling it a bnb as those words don't give the place justice. We will definitely be staying next time we are in brixam . Look no further than Beacon House when looking for accomodation in brixam.
