Prospect House as it was originally named, was built in the early 1850's as a detached residence for a local smack (trawler) owner. In the early 1900's the house was split into two by the then owners, but retained ownership of both houses.

Best BnB experience we have ever had
Wow where do I start ? Hervé and Nathalie were so welcoming. The room had the best view over the harbour, the balcony was a bonus. The towels and the bedding were of the best quality. The breakfasts that Hervé and Nathalie served were of Michelin star standard EGGS BENIDICT to die for there was so much to choose from. 5 🌟 does not give this place justice 10 star better than any hotel. Hervé was so full of information. I looked forward to our chats after breakfast with Hervé and Nathalie . Nathalie spoke 7 languages wow amazing. We had the best experience we have ever had in a bnb. Seems weired calling it a bnb as those words don't give the place justice. We will definitely be staying next time we are in brixam . Look no further than Beacon House when looking for accomodation in brixam.
